The Advanced Soccer School is an instructional camp designed for the dedicated soccer player. It is ideal for those players who have aspirations to compete at the select/club, O.D.P., and college level. The Advanced camp will provide a challenging training environment for the players with a specific curriculum for each age group. An emphasis will be placed on the habits and requirements needed to become a top-level soccer player. The Advanced Soccer School will be staffed by a concentrated group of top quality licensed coaches.

The Advanced School prides itself on offering the highest exemplary standards for players and goalkeepers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The coaching staff will provide a thorough player-improvement program based on players' ability and age. Each group will be trained by a coach and counselor so that the teacher/pupil ration is very low (8:1 max). The experience, age and ability of the campers will determine the specialist group each camper joins. Tactical, technical, and functional facets of the game will be taught and we will play competitive games in the evening.

  • Free Camp T-shirt
  • Full room and board in air conditioned dormitories
  • Specialized training from top-quality staff
  • Quality meals served three times daily in air-conditioned dining facility
  • Spacious sports complex featuring locker rooms and training room
  • Written detailed camper evaluation
  • 8 to 1 player to coach ratio
  • Staff trainers on duty at all times

Goalkeepers will be trained separately in the morning and afternoon sessions and will follow a specific curriculum designed for goalkeepers. In the evening session goalkeepers will play in competitive games with the field players and will be evaluated during their games by our goalkeeping coaches. The Advanced Goalkeeping School is directed by Steve Wieczorek, the current goalkeeper coach at Duquesne University. Prior to Duquesne, Wieczorek served as the top assistant at Siena College for the past two seasons, five in total from 2008-2013, and served as Interim Head Coach for the Saints in 2013. Prior to Siena, Wieczorek spent two seasons at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. In 2004, Wieczorek coached the goalkeepers at his alma mater Fairfield University, where he played as a Division I goalkeeper from 2000-2003. During his playing career, the Stags won over 40 games, reaching two MAAC finals and ranking in the NSCAA Top 25 in 2000 and 2001 (highest No. 11 nationally). Since 2010, Wieczorek has run his own goalkeeping academy, targeting the technical and tactical development of youth goalkeepers. From 2005-09, Wieczorek worked for nationally renowned Tony DiCicco's Soccer Plus Goalkeeper School as a staff coach and director, and has worked with goalkeepers at the State and Regional ODP, premier, youth, and U.S. Development Academy levels. He holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.
